The Casa Tucan is just a 3 minute walk to the infamous Playa Guiones beach… you’ll be staying in the warm, tropical, and rustic luxury of a truly “Pura Vida” vibe hotel. All rooms at the Casa Tucan are private with private bath, A/C, hot water, ceiling fan, mini refrigerator, wet bar, room safe, free WiFi connection, and alarm clock / I-Pod station radio. The larger rooms (Sunset Suite) also have couch, table and chairs for some extra lounging in the room. Our Jungle Bungalows are located pool side with porches out front for you to relax and read a book. There is a sparkling pool located in the center of the property for easy access to a cool dip. Hammocks are strung up around the property for guests to enjoy an afternoon “siesta”.
Casa Tucan is located right on the “boardwalk” in the town of Guiones, within a 5 minute walk to shops, alternate food choices, rental car agencies, yoga studios, an ice cream parlor, mini-market, whole foods stores, and other bars…the location is ideal!
Maid service along with clean sheets and towels provided daily. Laundry service is available at an additional cost. The Casa Tucan has a full restaurant and bar on the property. The food at the restaurant is some of the best in Nosara and our bar is one of the more popular places to meet and greet other travelers and locals as well. There is live music at the restaurant on occasion that really packs in the locals!
The Casa Tucan restaurant is not a “late night” location as we like to get to bed early for the next morning’s surf session! Our bar area is typically closed down by 10 to 10:30 pm on average. There are other spots in town to “tie one on” if you so choose!
